Looking for something safe and fun to do on New Year’s Eve in or near Orlando, Florida? We have an idea, how you can enjoy live entertainment.. It’s dueling pianos!
There are several spots in and around Orlando where you can have dinner while listening to your favorite piano bar requests…
Just north of Florida’s turnpike in Ocala, tucked away in downtown is an awesome place with food and drinks, the Lodge Brick City. Normally you can catch dueling pianos there the second Friday of each month, but this week, it’s a special New Years Eve performance featuring the Lodge mainstay Dustin Taylor and newcomer Joey James. Catch drinks and food all night, with the show starting at 9:30 all thre way through the 2021 countdown.
For our friends just north of Jacksonville, on the beach at an awesome restaurant called Sandbar and Kitchen, the dueling pianos fun will start at 8:30pm. The show in Fernandina Beach features dueling piano veterans Orin Sands and Katie Pinder Brown, who share a combined experience of over 40 years onstage.
One of the top rated music venues (and few to be safely open throughout the Covid pandemic this year) is Tin Roof Orlando, in the new Icon Park section of International Drive. Normally featured every Sunday in the Green Room, dueling pianos joins the lineup for an early evening New Years’ Eve performance, with Chris Scalco and Ty Chaney taking piano bar requests from 6-9pm.
Finally, Orlando’s uniquely married dueling piano couple, Amy and Randy Keith will take the stage just a little south of town at Haines City’s Balmoral Resort. The couple performed at a member event in November and is pack by popular demand. Join them for food and fun, with the DJ oreshow starting at 6, the main dueling piano entertainment from 8-1130, then a countdown to 2021 at the resort’s bar and grill.
Whatever you decide to do this New Years Eve, we wish you a safe and happy end to 2020!
