Ace Cafe Orlando – “Ace is the Place!”?
The brand new Ace Cafe Orlando on Livingston Street downtown now features yet another unique entertainment option, Dueling Piano Night on Tuesdays!
The dynamic newlywed duo of Amy and Randy Keith bring a unique twist to the dueling piano bar brand.
“I worked in dueling piano clubs for 12 years. My show is a lot more ‘tame’ than when I was single, which I think lends itself more to a family-friendly approach, welcoming to Orlando residents and tourists alike,”says Randy Keith, owner of Premier Piano Shows and a veteran of the dueling piano concept.
Amy, Randy’s bride since 2015, agrees: “I love the focus that Randy and I have on the musical experience and relating how much fun we have singing and playing to our crowds.”
The couple moved to Florida just last year, following 3 years of living together in Phoenix, where they met in 2012.
“The first time I saw dueling pianos at Howl at the Moon in Hollywood, I knew that’s what I wanted to do,” Randy recalls about his first dueling piano bar experience.
While teaching as a music and choir teacher full-time, Amy discovered dueling pianos shortly before she met Randy: “I auditioned for ‘American Idol’ and ‘The Voice’ because I have dreamed of singing onstage since I was very little. Dueling Pianos offers me the chance to sing and perform with my husband, literally a dream come true.”
The couple bring their unique brand of dueling pianos to the brand new Ace Cafe every Tuesday Night.
Their repertoire spans literally centuries — each night you can catch them going from Bobby Darin to Lady Gaga, Bette Midler to Rage Against the Machine.
They hate to be stumped, and if it does happen, they will learn your request.
It’s a chance to enjoy a dueling piano show in a great atmosphere downtown, in a large but intimate setting.
