As summer approaches and Florida businesses continue to reopen, live entertainment is back in Central Florida.
In Orlando, piano bar fans have been able to return to famed Pat O’Brien’s at Universal Citywalk, now open with dueling piano entertainment on weekend evenings. Rumors are that the other dueling piano hot spots in Orlando, Jellyrolls (at Disney’s Boardwalk) and Howl at the Moon (on International Drive) will be re=opening to patrons in early July.
You don’t have to go far from Orlando to find great live entertainment with dueling pianos, though. Central Florida’s Dueling Piano leader, Premier Piano Shows provides monthly and weekly performances at several venues:
In New Port Richey, The Social NPR features a different dueling piano team every Friday night, headed by Premier Piano Shows’ founder Randy Keith. The new showtime of 8-11pm attracts both a dinner and a late night crowd. No reservations are required, but this is a popular local spot, so make sure to plan ahead and stop in early (by 6:30pm) for prime seating.
Just off I-75 in Downtown Ocala, The Lodge Brewery also brings in a dueling piano team, every second Friday of the month, starting tomorrow, June 12th. Showtime is 8-11pm, and reservations are required for the VIP seating section closest to the stage.
Starting later in June, on Saturday June 27th, the dueling piano fun comes to the Space Coast as well. Copper Chimney Bar and Grill, a quaint establishment tucked away in Palm Bay, brings back the dueling piano team the 4th Saturday of each month from 8-11pm. No reservations required here either.
